How do members maintain their membership info?
Login into MISC Friendly Manager above using your email address and password. Once logged in you will be able to change/update your personal information including newsletter subscription options.

How do I get a NZ Firearms Licence.
Firearms licencing is administered in NZ by the Firearms Safety Authority.

What firearms can I use at MISC?
MISC is NZ Police/Firearms Safety Authority vetted facility approved for shooting all legal long arms. IE: rifles and shotguns. Pistol shooting is prohibited.
What hours is the MISC facility available to members?
Members may access the rifle range and shotgun patterning range 24/7.
Can I bring my own clay target thrower to MISC?
Clay target shooting is only permitted during club mandated events. Members are not permitted to shoot clay targets outside of these times.
What is the pattern board for?
The pattern board range is for the exclusive use of shotguns for the purposes of evaluating shotshell ammunition and shotguns. Markers are placed at 16, 22, 30 and 40 yards.
All shot sizes may be used on the pattern board range including non toxic 'steel' shot.
Buckshot and slugs are not permitted.

Where can I dispose of unwanted ammunition?
On the rifle range there is a purpose built facility for disposal of unwanted ammunition. Should you experience a misfire or have ammunition you are not comfortable discharging please discard in the box shown (Right)
