About Us
Formerly the NZ Handloaders Association Inc first established in 1956, the purpose of the McLeans Island Shooting Club (MISC) is to provide the opportunity for members to engage in the activities of rifle and clay target shooting, ammunition preparation, development and testing in a purpose built, well-maintained and safe environment. Originally located at the Rawhiti Domain the club relocated to the current location in the early 1980's where the 100m rifle range, clay target range and clubrooms were developed.
